The purpose of our public engagement program is to ensure information about Department activities, programs, plans, and projects is transparent and to provide opportunities for reasonable, constructive public interaction. The goals of our public involvement program are to:
• Build trust by communicating accurately and honestly with customers
• Build public knowledge as policies, plans, and projects are developed
• Clearly articulate decision-making processes and opportunities for public input or influence
