Treasurer Payment Center

We offer several ways to pay property taxes.

Online Property Tax Payments:

  • Please read this entire section before trying to pay.
  • You will be brought to a Disclaimer Screen – Click “Accept” to continue to property search.
  • You’ll need to search and access your parcel to be able to pay.
  • Once you’ve located the property, click “View Details.”
  • Under the header “Pay Tax Due” there are options to pay taxes and proceed to payment cart.
  • Click on the arrow to see the drop-down list of payment types.
  • Credit Cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa), Visa Debit, and E-checks accepted for property tax payments.
  • Payments must be prior to 11:59 p.m. PST to be considered a same day payment.

**Payments are not processed in “real time”. Please allow 3-4 business days for payments to post to your parcel(s). **

  • Before you call, search property for current amount due.
  • You will need your Property Identification Number (PID)
  • Have payment information ready (Credit Card, Debit Card, or E-check)

  • Make check payable to Pend Oreille County Treasurer
  • Mail to Pend Oreille County Treasurer, PO Box 5080, Newport, WA 99156
  • Include payment coupon or Property Identification Number (PID)

Pay in Person:

625 W 4th Street, Newport, WA

  • Our office is open Monday through Friday 8:30a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed for lunch 12:30 to 1:00 p.m.
  • We accept cash, checks or credit/debit cards.
  • There is a convenience fee for credit/debit card transactions. (listed above) Pend Oreille County does not receive any of the fees.
