Hall of Justice Houses: Superior Court, District Court, Juvenile Office and Prosecutor’s office

Superior Court Clerk’s Office Hours:

The Hall of Justice is open from 8:00am to 4:30pm, the Superior Court Clerk’s Office is closed from noon to 1pm.

Passport processing has resumed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Passport pictures are available for $10.

State v. Blake Resentencing and Vacations:

In February 2021, the Supreme Court of the State of Washington declared that RCW 69.50.4013(1) was unconstitutional.

  • If you were convicted under this statute or a preceding statute related solely to the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, you may be eligible to have your sentence for that crime vacated.
  • If you were sentenced to another felony and your sentence was based on an offender score including a vacated conviction, you may be eligible for a resentencing.
  • In order for you case to be addressed you must notify the court in writing. Please contact Van Valkenburg Law Office at 509-822-7078 for assistance.

Pend Oreille County Clerk

The Pend Oreille County Clerk is one of the elected officials provided by the Washington State Constitution with specific duties assigned by statue and court rules. The Clerk is, by virtue of the Constitution, ex-officio of Superior Court and serves as the official record keeper and financial officer of Superior Court. Tammie Ownbey has held the position of County Clerk since January of 2007.

Mission Statement: As the “gatekeeper” of the court, it is our mission to protect the integrity and accuracy of the court records of Pend Oreille County Superior Court while serving the public and legal community in a courteous and professional manner. The office is committed to providing timely assistance, ensuring equal access to court services, treating users of the court system with respect and dignity and enhancing public trust and confidence in the court system.
