Are you friendly, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Pend Oreille County is seeking a Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our Counseling Services Department. This full-time role involves welcoming clients, triaging crises, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and supporting our team with administrative tasks.

Position Overview
Our Receptionist is responsible for opening the office promptly at 8:00 AM, welcoming clients, and triaging crises to the appropriate party. Key duties include answering calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining client records and charts, managing correspondence, and ensuring smooth office operations. The role also involves handling legal paperwork, updating forms, maintaining agency inventory, and managing teleconferencing systems. As a vital team member, the Receptionist fosters a collaborative environment while performing various administrative tasks to support the Department. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and public relations skills
  • Proficient in office software and multitasking
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to handle confidential information
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Successful background and motor vehicle check
